What a great day on the battlefield! It was the players that made this day one of the best. Even with the wide range of ages and weaponry on the battlefield, everyone got a piece of the action. We had a total of 60 players on Saturday and estimate 300,000 BB's went flying through the air. There were MANY intense fire fights all over the field!
Fathers & sons, groups of friends, teams, individual players, serious competitors, or first timer players EVERYONE is welcome to join us at the Kapowwe Airsoft Field and be ready to have some fun!
If you lost an item on the battlefield, we now have a specific mailbox for lost & found items. Please email us at lostandfound@kapowwe.com and let us know what item was lost. If/when it is found, we will email you and let you know.
Once again the allusive Bigfoot did not show itself on the battlefield. He has a way of surprising you, just when you least expect him. Always be on the lookout for this creature, we need him off the property once and for all.
Get your gear unpacked, inspected, repaired, upgraded, and recharged because we have another game day on the calendar for Saturday 2/4/06! Based on everyone's suggestions, we have a new mission scenario in the works.
If you have a suggestion or comment about what you did or did not like about this last game, please let us know. We want your input into improving the field.
We rented several of the new UTG AK-47 War Hawks to players in need of a rifle. These AEGs did outstanding. One of the players took out a sniper and several high-end AEGs using one of these mid-grade AEGs. The only issue was that the battery only lasted for 2 1/2 hrs of play. A 2nd 8.4v Sanyo battery would have allowed these guns to go all day.
The bridge shown below was a secondary objective; however, neither team could take this bridge from the other. MadBull rocket from an M203 would have done the trick.

Old News.....

- Details:
- There is no cost to access the property and play. The Kapowwe airsoft field is free and open to the public for recreational use on game days. We suggest that everyone joining us on the battlefield purchase at least 1 bag of 3000 .20g BBs from us that day for $20.00. Each additional bag is only $10.00. Also, lunch and drinks will be provided at a cost ($2.00 hotdog, pizza...etc, $1.00 Cokes/bottle water...etc). Bring about $20-$30 for BB's and lunch. Doing this supports our field and keeps access to the property free for parents, spectators, players, and allows us to keep the field going.
If you have never come to one of the Kapowwe airsoft game days, DO IT! We do not care what you wear, or your skill level. There are a wide range of ages playing and in a relaxed atmosphere. This is not a "bootcamp", it is a fun day in the country skirmishing with fellow airsoft enthusiasts. Parents are always welcome to attend, bring a airsoft gun or just a book and enjoy the day.

- Teams:

Team that completes the Primary Objective and the most Secondary Objectives wins the day!
- Objective:
- Green Primary Objective - Down pilot Mashburn is deep behind lines. Your objective is to take pilot Mashburn to the extraction point on the other side of the battlefield. If you are shot along the way, Mashburn can be handed off to another player or left there.
Green Secondary Objectives - There will be 3 secondary objectives which will be announced on game day. These objectives will be to destroy specific infrastructures within the Brown teams land.
Brown Primary Objective - You are angry that foreign soldiers are on your land. You realize that the longer this down pilot is on your land the more Green team you can shoot; therefore, you do not touch the down pilot at anytime. Your objective is to stop the Green team from taking their pilot to the extraction point by seeking out and shooting as many as you can. Green Team will also have secondary objectives to take out infrastructure along the way. You must guard specific points on your land to keep this from happening. Green Team will have a clearly marked boarder that cannot be crossed by Brown Team. This is shown as a red line on the map.
Rules:
- Unlimited lives. Once shot, place a red rag on top of your head as you walk back to re-spawn. Simply touch your team's re-spawn point and you are back in the game.
- There are clear spawn perimeters, do not cross these perimeters if you are on the opposite team
- Listen to the MPs. They have the authority to pull players from the game for 30mins or for the day for the following reasons.
- Not calling hits
- Crossing spawn perimeters
- Cussing
- Unsafe conduct
- Prize Game
- Bigfoot has been spotted once again on the property. Just when we thought he left the area... If he shows up on the battlefield, shoot'em before he shoots you and win a prize from the Kapowwe Company. If Bigfoot is not spotted, we will have an sharp shooters contest during lunch.
