 Just wish it had the forward assist.

Got one, love it. My only gripe is it wasn't the type with a forward assist-style foregrip. I can't complain too much, given this is the first Chicago Typewriter I've seen in AEG flavor for this cheap.
Like all my other guns, I had to paint it. I took the dark grey primer to all the "metal" parts including the drum, then hand-painted different shades of brown onto the "wood" parts, making a fairly decent woodgrain effect.
Buy it.

the thompson m1a1 is the best gun ever i was 150 feet away from my friend and it hit him in the leg. Even though it is plastic it is a great gun. Get it now.

I bought one of these a couple months ago and the weapon worked great. Even though it has a plastic gear box, it worked fine with and impressive rate of fire.I would recomend one of these anytime.

This gun is fantastic! It does indeed shoot about 390 feet per second, and even though it has a plastic gearbox, it shoots very fast and accurate. So far it has not jammed up once, and is looking very good for the future. This is a great gun! It was worth every penny!
