Custom Airsoft Painting with DuraCoat Paint Products

The all back color from the rifles really stands out in the woodland terrain of our battlefield. Many folks have been painting their rifles to better camouflage themselves while in battle.

DuraCoat can be applied to ferrous metals, alloys, stainless steel, synthetics, wood, etc... etc... No preheating or baking is required.

Question:

I want to professionally camouflage my airsoft replica myself. What exactly do I need to purchase?

Answer:

(1) Pick a "Peel 'n Spray" camo kit. This includes most everything you need including instructional DVD.

(2) If you do not already have an airbrush, get an Airbursh Kit

(3) You will need solvent/cleaner to clean the surface of the gun and to clean your painting equipment.

(4) Paint reducer is recommended. This thins out the paint so it sprays smoother.

(5) Clear coat is recommended for an even professional look and to protect your masterpiece.

 

Question:

Will Kapowwe paint my gun?

Answer:

No, we do not offer custom painting. Painting your rifle should be done by you. You will appreciate it much more when you know it was done yourself.

If you are looking to set your airsoft replica or paintball marker apart from the pack... custom painting is worth taking a look at.

Before having your rifle painted, here are a few details to consider.

Custom painting is just that, custom. No two rifles will be identical. The painter will take some artistic leeway when painting your rifle (i.e. it might be slightly different than what you have in mind). You pick a base pattern for example Woodland camo, and the painter will take it from there. 

Once you paint your rifle, there is no turning back. If you later decide you do not like it, the gun must be stripped and then re-painting. You cannot sand it down or "strip it" down to the original plastic.

You may see photos of rifles without orange tips; however, this is only for display purposes. If you send us an airsoft replica that does not have an orange tip, we will paint an orange tip on. If you want us to custom paint a 2nd flash hider for you to mach the gun (i.e. not orange), that is okay. For example, send us 2 flash hiders. One will be orange and attached to the gun, the other is painted separately.  (Note: this does not apply to paintball markers which do not require the orange tip) 

We only paint high-end airsoft replicas such as Tokyo Marui, Classic Army, ICS. We also paint any paintball marker and equipment. Sorry, we do not paint low-end or mid-grade airsoft or any REAL firearms. 

We have a 2 week turnaround time on all paint works. 

After 24hrs of placing the order, you are committed to the purchase and it is not refundable. Be sure you want this service prior to placing the order.  If you later decide you do not like the paint job for whatever reason it is not refundable.  We take pride in making each one as perfect as possible, and each completed rifle is reviewed by 3 different approvers , but this is custom painting. If you are one that is a perfectionist, or even extremely particular, this this service is not for you.
