Over 100 players showed up to play. I was not able to attend but heard it was a blast. Here are some videos of the day.

 

Old News.....

Time to charge up the batteries and fill the mags! A local airsoft team "Team Infidel" is hosting a mini-op at Survival Game of Texas! 
A group of us from Kapowwe will be there to sling bb's and have some fun. Not to mention we will be donating some awesome prizes!

All are welcome to attend, the field age requirement is 14+ years old. This is going to be a fun day. Hope to see you on the battlefield!

Game Information:

Placement trophies will also be awarded based on events in the game. This will also be discussed in more detail at the briefing on game day.

This is a three phase game. Each phase will be discussed on game day at the briefing. (Hint- Be at the briefing on time) All three phases are military simulation with objectives to complete. All phases are based on actual events.

Uniform "Requirements":

Team Bluefor: Military uniforms required. This includes the following; Woodland, Marpat, tri-color green BDU, Tiger-strip, desert DCU. 

Team OpFor: Civilian clothes Only. No Camo T-shirts. We are looking for a insurgent look. Boots are highly encouraged. (This is also for new players that want to come and try airsoft but do not have military style clothes.) Bring some new people and try it out. 

So, if you have full BDU's or a military uniform regardless of color (woodland, desersert...etc), you will be on Team Bluefor. If you do not have full BDU's, wear civilian clothes (e.g. jeans and tee shirt, but no camo) and you will be on Team OpFor.

Time: 1000-1600 (get there around 9:30AM to get your gear together)

Where:

Survival Game of Texas Saturday (4/12/08 game starts 10:00 sharp). Be ready to meet other airsoft enthusiasts and have some fun!
When you drive up to the field, it should be easy to spot the group. Look for the only group with airsoft guns, walk-up and say hello. If you arrive late and we have already moved from the front, go inside the paintball shop, tell them you are there to play airsoft, sign the release form, pay the field fee, and they will direct you to the field.

Once you turn on to Aldine Westfield from Beltway 8, it is the 2nd street on the left.... very easy to miss.

NOTE: If you are under 18 years old, the field owner requires a full face paintball mask (There is REAL C.Q.B at this location and if you are brave enough to enter buildings, you will be glad you have a full face mask!). If you are 18+ years old all you need to wear are ANSI goggles that fully seal the eyes and wrap around the head. Proper eye protection is a must! Shooting glasses are NOT proper eye protection. "Screen masks" are only rated for 300 fps and should not be worn. Everyone must have ANSI rated masks/goggles. If you have any questions about this, do not email us contact Survival Game of Texas

The Scott Mask we offer works really well. Never fogs! 

Gun Rentals:

We will have high-end AEGs to rent at $35.00 per gun. This includes (1) high cap mag, fully charged battery, and (1) bag of premium .20g bb's. We strongly suggest that you purchase the rental prior to game day since we have a limited number.
